I admit I've been spoiled because I have been lucky enough to be able to ski on ski off at Mount Snow Vermont and I don't think I will be able to go back. 

Convenience: No one can argue ski on ski off is far more convenient than the hassle of packing up your car and driving to the mountain for the day. You can wake up and walk right to the trail. Mount Snow is a family friendly mountain so this is especially nice if you have young children that really only ski for a few hours at a time. Ski on Ski off allows you to save time and especially when skiing time is money. By avoiding the drive to the mountain, parking lot lines and getting shuttled to the mountain you allow yourself to get on the mountain earlier and ski more for the price of your ticket.

Night Life: Mount Snow runs a lot of events on or near the mountain and is surrounded by bars and restaurants. Being close to the mountain puts you in walking distance from most night life activities.
